Lindy Burruss, Office Manager
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, I proudly serve as the Office Manager at MJM Anesthesia. With a passion for healthcare and patient care, I’m currently pursuing my Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certificate to further expand my knowledge and skills in the medical field. I'm committed to ensuring our office runs smoothly and that every patient has a positive experience with our team.
Heather Norris, Administrative Assistant
​Heather has spent 20 plus years working in the healthcare world—from the fast pace of the ER to the detailed work at a plastic surgeon’s office—handling everything from admin tasks to billing, patient support and assisting during surgery. I also have a big love for travel and am a licensed travel agent, so when I’m not helping patients, I’m helping people plan their next adventure. I’m all about keeping things organized and making life a little easier for others, whether at the front desk or across the globe.
Dr. Heather Dailey CRNA, MSN, DNAP
Founder & CEO
After volunteering as a Paramedic during undergrad, Heather quickly realized her calling was working with patients, Immediately after graduation from The American University in Washington DC, she continued on to earn a second bachelors in nursing at The University of Maryland, after 7 years of working in ER/Trauma and eventually as a flight nurse, she went back to Georgetown University to pursue her master's degree in anesthesia, and then onto The Medical College of Virginia (VCU) where she earned a Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Practice, during these years, she continued working at The Washington Hospital Center caring for a wide variety of patients. After many years of service, she decided to venture out on her own, creating a thriving mobile anesthesia practice serving ambulatory surgery centers of all types around the DMV area.
Bruce Herr, CRNA, MS, BSN
Bruce Herr, Jr., MS, BSN, CRNA, joined MJM Anesthesia LLC in 2018. Born & raised in Michigan, Bruce earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Northern Michigan University in 1999 followed by a Master of Science in Anesthesia degree at Wayne State University in 2004. He relocated to Washington, DC at that time to pursue his career in nurse anesthesiology where he worked full-time at MedStar Washington Hospital Center until 2021 and began focusing on adult, outpatient surgical anesthesia practice. Having a lifelong passion for the performing arts, and meeting his spouse, Adam, within it, Bruce participates with groups in the Metro-DC area & serves on the Board of Directors to three non-profit, charitable organizations locally & nationally.
Laura Jeanne Kemp CRNA, MS, BSN
Since the age of twelve, Laura Jeanne knew she wanted to be a nurse anesthetist. She graduated from nursing school at the University of Pennsylvania and worked as an ICU nurse in Delaware before attending anesthesia school at Boston College. She has been practicing as a nurse anesthetist since 2016, first in Boston and more recently in the DMV area. Laura Jeanne is experienced in providing anesthesia for a wide range of patients and in various clinical settings -- from healthy individuals having elective surgery to critically ill patients undergoing life-saving procedures.
Sarah Bresler, CRNA, MSN, BSN
Sarah Bresler, was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended Emory University for her undergraduate education and completed her graduate training at Johns Hopkins University and Georgetown University. She joined MJM Anesthesia LLC in 2021 and currently also practices anesthesia at Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center. When she is not providing anesthesia care, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, and being active outdoors.
Paula Shipman-Robers, CRNA, MSNA, Author
Paula is a lead CRNA working in a level one trauma center and has been practicing for greater than 25 years, providing all aspects of Nurse Anesthesiology. Paula also owns and operates her own practice in the DMV are. Her practice environments include: GI, Gyn, Pediatric Dental, and Plastic Surgery. Paula is a Nursepreneur. She is also the owner and operator of Roberts Target Financials LLC. She is a big believer in empowering individuals to take control of their financial future. She is actively pursuing her MBA of Finance from LSU. Paula shares her financial knowledge through motivational speaking forums and authored the book “Excessive Debt is a Disease that can be Cured”. Paula is a founding member and Financial Secretary of the Black Nurse Collaborative. Paula received her BSN from SUNY Downstate University in Brooklyn, NY, her MSN in Nurse Anesthesia from the Harlem Hospital/University of New England, in Biddeford ME. Paula has been married for over 30 years; she and her husband are the proud parents of 4 beautiful adult professional children. Most importantly, Paula is a child of the most-high God.
